Domain Mapping

  I want to map my domain and I have other websites using wordpress and have only ever been charged $13. However, I am being forced to pay $99 a year. I only want to map my domain, I do not want to upgrade to premium. What gives?

  To map a domain, you’ll need to get at least a Personal Plan. It will cost about $35 a year. The $99 a year is for Premium Plans.

  I have other sites on wordpress and domain map them for only $13 a year, I have never had to pay for anything extra.

  Good Morning vcmentoring –

  Newer WordPress.com account do require an upgraded plan in order to map a domain. This can be done with WordPress.com Personal for $35.88/year.

  It sounds like you have another WordPress.com account as I do not see any history of domain mapping to this one.
