Domain Mapping

  WP wont let me just map my domain name I purchased through bluehost. WP keeps trying to/ and adding a premium charge of $99 to the cart instead of the $13 fee that is normal to mapping.

  The $13 domain mapping standalone upgrade was discontinued last year.

  If you enter the domain URL first without selecting a plan you end up in an infinite loop.

  Hi folks, we shouldn’t be seeing infinite loops; if you are please send more details.

  You should be able to map a domain with a personal plan if you’d like, though:

  First, choose a plan here:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Then use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains

  Finally, if your domain is registered elsewhere, be sure to update its settings to point to our servers, and wait a few hours for that to take effect.
