  Is it not possible any more to map a domain to my FREE-plan wordpress site?? I finally got a domain from another provider which I tried to map to my free wordpress site…But it doesn’t let me do it for the usual 13 USD price…system wants me to upgrade my plan (which I don’t want to). Thx in advance

  Hello @widiadari,
  As the official support document for domain mapping says:

  You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.

  So i am sorry, it is not possible to map a domain with the free plan. You will have to upgrade to at-least to the Personal plan(the cheapest paid plan) to map your domain.
