Domain mapping

  I am trying to map my domain name to my site , first page tells me it will be £11, later it turns out to be £85, please can you explain, thanks.

  Hi there
  If you are following the instructions on Domain Mapping, you likely saw

  You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.

  So the £11 domain mapping upgrade is for additional mapping upgrades in addition to the one that comes with your upgraded plan.

  You do not need the £85 Premium plan, which is the default if you do not select a different plan while going through the checkout process without an upgraded plan. The Personal plan is much more affordable and comes with a domain credit for mapping or registering a domain.
