domain mapping

  I am trying to map my domain name that I bought from go daddy: http://www.cozybythesea.com but I am getting the error message that the domain already exists and I cannot use it? How can I map my domain that I bought to word press without getting this error message?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. The following support doc has a step-by-step guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Even when I try to upgrade to the premium… it says the same thing… domain already registered. It won’t let me upgrade to premium or add my domain.

  Hi,

  Make sure the account that you are trying to upgrade is cozybytheseacom.wordpress.com not cozybythesea.com. Only after you upgrade your cozybytheseacom.wordpress.com account, will you be able to use your cozybythesea.com domain.
