Domain Mapping

  Hello, I’m having an issue with Domain Mapping. I have a domain called: eliigete.com.pe when I try to add it as a domain to my WordPress account it gives me a message that WordPress don’t offer .pe domains and that I should map it.

  So I click on map domain and it sends me to buy a business plan where mapping a domain is free (comes with the plan). The problem is that the business plan associates to another of my sites.

  I want to map the domain: eliigete.com.pe and pay a business plan for that domain. I don’t want to map the domain: eliigete.com.pe and pay a business plan for other domain or site.

  I’ll appreciate your help with this issue.

  A plan is valid for one WordPress.com site. So if you had three sites in your account and wanted Personal plan features for them all, you would need to purchase a plan for each site.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and purchase upgrades at > Dashboard> Store > My Upgrades

  Did you want to transfer your Business Plan from one of your sites to another that you own, so that you only have one Business Plan?

  If so, you can type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread for Staff attention.

  I have a domain: eliigete.com.pe that I’ve been working aside but I want to work it with WordPress now.

  The problem is that as is a domain that I already own I have to map it into my WordPress account.

  But when I click “map domain” it sends me to purchase and it states that I’m buying a Business Plan for one of my other sites that are already linked to WordPress and that I can map my other domain for free.

  I want to map my domain: eliigete.com.pe and then buy a Business Plan for this domain.

  Hi there!

  Try to upgrade the WordPress.com site first and then try the map domain instructions.

  Hi there,

  In order to map a domain to WordPress.com you first need a free WordPress.com address. You first need a site so you can connect the domain to that site.

  You have two sites in your account at the moment:

  https://tradingresponsable.wordpress.com/ and https://eliigeteblog.wordpress.com/

  If you want to connect the domain to one of those sites, go to My Sites ->Switch Site, and select the one you want. Click on Plans and add your plan, and then click on Domains to add the domain mapping.

  If you don’t want to connect your domain to either of those sites, you’ll first need to create a new site in your account. You can do that from here:

  https://wordpress.com/start/site/

  If you have an existing site at that domain, and you want to move that site to WordPress.com, you’ll still first need a free WordPress.com site. Then you can transfer the existing site’s content to the new WordPress.com site, and then connect your domain:

  https://transferto.wordpress.com/
