domain mapping

  Hello, I have always done domain mapping for under $20, why is it asking me to upgrade to a premium account.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Domain mapping was previously offered as a stand alone service. There has however been a change and domain mapping is only available with a paid upgrade.

  Do you mean domain mapping or do you mean site redirect? Site Redirect is a $13 yearly upgrade.

  Domain mapping replaces foodpersuasiondotcom.wordpress.com. with your-cool-name.com when someone visits your blog – the content displayed is from foodpersuasiondotcom.wordpress.com.

  Site redirect sends a visitor from foodpersuasiondotcom.wordpress.com. to your-new-site.com – the content displayed is from your-new-site.com
  Use domain mapping if you have your site hosted here
  Site redirect if you leave WordPress.COM and want to send visitors to your new site

  Hi carolinefoodpersuasion,

  Once you select to map a domain to a site it will prompt you to upgrade the plan associated with the site.

  If you already have a paid plan and want to do multiple mappings you will be charged for the additional mappings.
