  Hi Team,

  I’m currently on a free wordpress plan. I wanted to know that if I add my domain to it would there be any charges for the same?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  I don’t know if I understand your question, you’re looking to map and already purchased domain to a free plan?

  Either way, this article explains how domain mapping works. Note though, you will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.

  Do you want to register a new domain? Or have you already purchased a domain elsewhere?

  Custom domains are a feature of all paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business.

  The Free plan only supports a default WordPress.com address (example.wordpress.com) so you would need to upgrade in order to add a custom domain.

  Thanks for your clearing my query. Just wanted to know one more thing that if I buy any one of the personal, premium or business plan, are there any additional charges apart from what is mentioned?

  There aren’t any additional charges unless you wanted to purchase or map more than one domain (each plan includes one domain credit).

  If you chose the Personal plan, it wouldn’t include Premium themes so they would be an additional cost. However, the Premium and Business plans include unlimited premium themes at no extra cost.

  Hi,

  I just now tried subscribing to the personal plan and after clicking on the pay button it said ‘That Method is not Allowed’. Tried it twice but unable to purchase

  Hi Team,

  I’ve purchased a theme from outside but I’m unable to add it to my wordpress as I cannot see any Add button under the theme section.

  Uploading third party themes is only supported on the Business plan so you would need to upgrade in order to use the theme you have purchased.

  With the Personal plan, themes can be activated from our Theme Showcase:
