I have portfolio website on wordpress.com – https://mariaerikssonstudio.wordpress.com and I would like to transfer it to another user, and map again domain mariaerikssonstudio.com for 13$ without any extra plan.
The mail of the new owner is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

To transfer a WordPress.com site to another user please follow these instructions:

As for the domain mapping upgrade, this is now part of our WordPress.com plans, therefore, you’ll need to at least purchase the Personal plan to be able to use that domain.

Of course we’ll buy Personal Plan, but anyway I think that we’ve got another issue.
The owner of the blog is OK right now, but we cannot map a domain.
Wordpress tells us that:
This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.It’s probably because the mapping was made on my wordpress account few years ago, and now we cannot remap it again on my friend’s account.
What should we do?

Hi Jan,
Domains that have been recently mapped cannot be immediately mapped again. This is done to prevent domain hijacking.
Please purchase the Personal plan and let me know so I can manually map it for you. -

Please don’t post on other people’s thread. Since you already have upgraded to the Personal plan, follow these instructions to map your domain:
