Domain Mapping

I have owned my own domain for years and have paid for Domain Mapping with WordPress for years as well. Looks as though in Aug 2017 it didn’t auto renew or I just forgot. I was paying $13/yr and I am trying to figure out how to put this feature back on my blog.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the domain name that you had mapped?

My question now… Why can’t I continue to use this feature?? Without paying for a huge plan.

I’ve gone to GoDaddy and added a forwarding to my domain but … I’d prefer to have it named correctly

    Hi there,

To provide a better overall user experience we’ve simplified our upgrades to a plans only model.

If you’d like to map your domain, mccolemanclan.com to your site you must first select a plan. Our Personal Plan starts at $4 a month ( billed at $48/year ) and in addition to a domain includes additional space, the removal of WordPress.com ads, and live chat support.

To get started first add your selected plan, then follow this guide to point your domain to WordPress.com’s name servers and assign it to your site:
