  I have a google domain, Im trying to create a wordpress site to sell physical products, i have woo commerce and signed up for bluehost, im honestly just very confused about the domain mapping thing. I need to upgrade my wordpress plan, which one is the cheapest for me to be able to map my domain over to wordpress. Id love to transfer but I cant yet because i created the domain yesterday. Thanks in advance!

  Did you take hosting from bluehost? Is the query related to a self-hosted WordPress site? Request you to share the website address. Please note that WordPress.com is different from WordPress. (Here is the difference: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/)

  Please see this to know more about the various WordPress.com plans: https://wordpress.com/pricing/. WordPress.com offers 4 plans: Free, Personal, Premium, and Business. Personal plan is the cheapest one among all (after Free plan, of course!). All the plans except Free plan offers custom domain name. However, if you already have a domain, you can either map it or transfer it to WordPress.com. Please consider looking at the below support pages to know more about domain mapping and domain transfer.

  Most domains require at least 60 days from the registration date or last transfer before a domain is eligible to transfer. Please refer this support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Can you please tell us the URL of your site you need help with?

  WordPress.com Vs WordPress.org are two different versions of WordPress.

  If you signed up with Bluehost, you’re using the open source WordPress software, not WordPress.com, and you don’t need to buy any plans or set up domain mapping with us.

  To connect your domain to your site at Bluehost, please contact Bluehost support.

  If instead you want to have your site with us on WordPress.com, note that you’ll need to have the Business Plan in order to use WooCommerce here. If you want to go this route, go to My Site ->Plans and buy a Business Plan for your site, or create a new site and add the plan there, and then you can start a live chat where we can talk you through the rest of the process.
