I thought that you were able to just the domain mapping without upgrading.
I have one of my sites set that way.
But today, I get this upgrade no matter what and just simply use the domain which I own.
I click to get rid of upgrade and everything disappears.
Why is that?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Domain mapping option is no longer available for a free plan. You’re required to have an upgraded plan in order to have your free credit to map a domain you own.

Yes, I did see the map-existig-doimain page and there was a free credit, but I just wanted a plain old domain mapping like my other site without upgrading.
I wonder what would happen with my next renewal of my other domain.
But I’ll find out in about less than two years. -

Hi there,
We stopped selling domain mapping as a stand-alone upgrade around two years ago. Accounts that already own a mapping upgrade can keep on renewing it indefinitely, but accounts that don’t already own any domain upgrades cannot buy one without a plan.
I assume the other domain you’re speaking of is jfuneral.com? That domain belongs to a different account, jfuneral. If you log into that account you should still be able to buy a domain mapping without buying a plan, but you won’t be able to do it using your yeyshonan account.
