Domain Mapping

  Hello,

  I’d like to pay the $13 annually (as advertised) to map a domain I own (converspeech.com), from an alternate domain hosting website. It was my understanding that I can pay this with a ‘free’ plan, but when I try to purchase the domain mapping feature for this website url, it continues to add on a premium plan. I do not want any of the three plans offered, just the domain mapping. Is this possible? Or have I fallen into the trap of false advertisement?

  Hello Blair,

  Domain Mapping option is no longer available as a separate purchase. If you wish to map your domain to WordPress.com site, you need an upgraded plan.

  Each paid plans come with a free credit that allows you to either register a new domain or transfer/map your existing domain.

  Hi Blair –

  Domain Mapping is no longer available as a stand alone upgrade on WordPress.com. In order to map the domain, you will need to upgrade the plan on the account.
