  Hi. I want to use domain mapping. Can I pay for this separately or do I need to buy a package? The difference in the advertised price (£11) is quite different to the package price (£74).

  Yes a plan would be required to transfer or map a domain you own to your WordPress.com site, The Personal plan would suffice at £36 per year (or £66 for two years):

  The £11 applies if you already owned a WordPress.com upgraded plan and domain and wished to map an additional domain to your site:
