  How much does mapping a domain name cost?
  Does mapping affect any aspect of my current domain set up?

  In order to map a domain you’ll need one of our plans. Depending on which one you choose would affect the price. But the most economical is the personal plan for $35/year. See those details at https://wordpress.com/pricing/
