Domain Mapping

  I’m trying to mapp a domain but it keep trying to sell me a premium plan. I don’t want a premium plan, I JUST WANT A DOMAIN MAPPING!!!

  Hi there,

  You need to have upgraded WordPress.com plan to be able to map a domain.

  You can buy a Personal Plan (Most economical plan) and then try mapping domain. As each plan comes with one free custom domain.

  Hi @ewl4jc, @sachintawade is correct. We no longer offer domain mapping on sites without plans. It’s been a few years now since we offered standalone upgrades.

  The personal plan would be your best bet. Do note if you’d like, you can now transfer the domain in so you don’t have to pay for it separately elsewhere, and that cost is included in the plan.
