  I an hosted by host monster. Can’t I control and build my sight from there??

  Yes, of course, you can. You can install WordPress, there and use it. There is a slight difference with the sites you host, and the one hosted on WordPress.com.

  Your site is a WordPress.org site which is not hosted by WordPress.com.
  This is a public forum which provides support only for the sites hosted on WordPress.com.
