Domain mapping

  I own a domain, but when I changed the URL to that domain name, I can no longer access the site dashboard or visit the page. I get the following message. ‘403 Forbidden
  Request forbidden by administrative rules.’

  Hi @katieswalla,

  Your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress, and you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only :)

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  However, you can change or define a new URL by editing wp-config.php.

  define('WP_HOME','http://yoursite.com');
  define('WP_SITEURL','http://yoursite.com');

  If you have access to your hosting, then open phpMyAdmin and update URL from its database .
