  I already own a domain and want to map it here. If I map the domain, will the url have ‘.wordpress.com’ in the URL bar?

  So if I own ‘4011football.com’, if I map it will the official URL in the future be 4011football.com or 4011football.wordpress.com?

  If you will add Custom domain ‘4011football.com’ to your site it will remain as it is You will still have domain http://4011football.wordpress.com/ but if anyone opens the site with url http://4011football.wordpress.com/ after adding custom domain to your site it will automatically redirects to the 4011football.com.
