Domain Mapping

  Hello, I am trying to renew my domain and having trouble with it. There were three options and when I click on the first option 3$ per month, it still charges me 5$/month on the next page. Could you help me understand why this happens?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi karthikbharadwaj,

  Is learndatascience.net the domain you need help with? If so, the domain mapping upgrade expired back in February 2018. It use to be available as a standalone upgrade but it’s now only available through a paid plan.

  You can choose a plan and then select the domain mapping option if you wish to continue using it on learndatasciencedotnet.wordpress.com.

  The domain itself is registered through GoDaddy so they will be the best people to contact if you need help with that :)

  Hello,

  I tried clicking in one of the paid plans (blogger plan), but it charges me 5$ per month instead of 3$ per month as stated in the plan. Why is this?

  Hi there,

  If you want to map an existing domain to your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to purchase at least the Personal Plan. You cannot use the mapping subscription under the Blogger Plan. That plan only comes with a new, custom .blog domain.
