Hi there,
The name servers for nallwritingbooks.com are pointing to WordPress.com. You were asked to pay because on WordPress.com you can only map a domain to an upgraded account, it’s a requirement.

Is there any way I can connect my free plan WordPress account to the domain I purchased from namecheap.com, so that when one searches my domain it will redirects him to my WordPress account without paying WordPress. Thanks

Hi there,
To use your own domain with a site hosted on WordPress.com requires a paid plan. There is no way of doing this without upgrading, as this is a service we charge for. Most hosting providers charge for this service.

Thanks, However I am experiencing issues with your
RSS. I don’t understand the reason why I am unable to join it.
Is there anybody else getting the same RSS issues?I have received couple of these comments on my post. Please how do I resolve this issue of RSS? Some say they can’t see my contact or my subscription email. Please how do I resolve all that? Thanks

Hi –
Is the RSS feed set up on the custom domain nallwritingbooks.com? If so, we can’t help in any trouble shooting because the domain does not point to our service. We have no access to it.
Generally, folks can follow an RSS if they want. It’s not very common though. In fact, most site followers are going to sign up through their WordPress.com account via the Reader or via email following.

I’m not sure what you mean, the URL of your site is https://nallwritingbooks.wordpress.com/
