Domain mapping

  Hi,

  I want to create a new site with a domain extension not available in WordPress.com. Hence, I need to use the domain mapping option. In the mapping process it says that it costs 13 €/year, but then I do not find the way to go through with the request, as WordPress.com requires me to purchase one of the premium plans. Where can I finish my request? Is it necessary to have one premium plan?

  Hi Manex, domain mapping works a bit differently now.

  If you have a plan, you can use a custom domain as the primary domain. It sounds like this is what you want to do. This is free with all paid plans.

  If you don’t have a plan, you can add the domain and make it redirect to your free address. If that’s what you are trying to do and you’re having trouble, please let us know.
