  I bought a domain and I’ve sorted it by pointing to my WordPress site but on my WordPress site I add the domain name I was asked to buy a premium template please why premium again.

  Hi there,

  In order to map your domain, you will need to purchase a paid plan:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/#getting-started-with-domain-mapping

  However, you shouldn’t have to purchase the Premium Plan in particular – you should be able to purchase the Personal Plan as well.

  Are you able to replace the Premium Plan with the Personal Plain in your cart?
