Domain Mapping [2]

Hi there —
Over the past few days I have had considerable trouble trying to map my domain name to this new account. The domain in question (alexharman.net) was originally mapped to another account here on WP.com (thehandthatthieves). I un-mapped it last week, and when I tried to re-map it to this account (alexharmandotnet) I got an error message saying I needed to wait a short time before this could be done. I asked on the forums how long this wait would be, and a member of staff there set the mapping up for me as a ‘trial’. However, when I went to pay for it to be extended for the full year, I was unable to. Earlier today another staff member removed the mapping so I could add it back on myself, except when I try to do so now I cannot – ‘
This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.’.All I want to do is pay the $13 and map my domain to this account :( Please can you help?

Bumping this to add that I am now aware that it is no longer possible to purchase the domain mapping upgrade on its own for $13. This is quite sad, but I like WP.com enough to go for the alternative upgrade to a Personal plan – but I still need to be able to use my existing domain name which presently is still not possible.
I would be most grateful if somebody could lift the restriction on this domain to allow me to proceed.
