Domain mapping

  Hi there, I am trying to map our webstie to our wordpress site, and I do not want a transfer.
  I used Wix before, and now want to change to wordpress. I have removed the site from Wix already.

  When I choose the ‘use a domain i own’ option, and then click on ‘map my domain’ then enter the domain name: drogstoponline.hu it takes me to a page where I could buy drogstop.com. But this is not what I want to do. I just want to map the existing domain.

  Please help.

  The site I need help with is drogstop.wordpress.com.

  Hi @drogstop,

  To map a domain, you will need a WordPress.com plan.

  Once you will buy a plan, you can map your domain successfully.

  Using a custom domain on WordPress.com requires a paid plan. Once you’ve purchased a paid plan from https://wordpress.com/plans – you can follow the instructions here to map a domain without transferring it to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
