Domain Mapping

    My credit card changed and I did not renew my domain mapping in time. How can I reinstate my gallerymarsiglia.com site? I was told it was ‘on hold’ and I would have to pay $80. Is this correct?

    Hi! If you just had domain mapping from us and that expired, you’ll need a paid plan to re-map the domain, as we stopped offering standalone domain mappings several years ago.

    The personal plan would do fine, though:
    https://wordpress.com/personal

    From there I’d recommend re-mapping the domain, and even transferring it here if you’d like, so that your renewals are in one place.

    Sometimes domains will have an $80 redemption fee no matter where it’s registered. You’ll just want to be sure to keep your domain properly renewed wherever it’s registered.
