Domain Mapping

  Hi,

  Do I need to buy one of WordPress’s plans in order to map my domain?
  Is a monthly plan enough or do I need to purchase an annual plan?

  Hi there:

  While you can purchase a domain without a plan, in order to have your domain be your primary domain you need a paid plan. Otherwise your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.

  You can choose monthly or yearly plans and the mapping will be included in the plan pricing.
