  Hi! I moved my website over to ShowIt a couple years ago but received an email that my domain here was being renewed and I’m confused about what that means exactly? I thought it was being connected through ShowIt completely and hosted by siteground so I had no connection to WordPress anymore. I just want to make sure I’m not paying for both when I no longer use WordPress, and if I cancel my subscription it won’t take down my site.

  Hi there!

  It looks like you still have an active Domain Connection subscription that wasn’t canceled after you moved your site to another host. You can safely remove the domain connection by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#cancel-a-purchase

  Doing so will not affect your site elsewhere since the domain isn’t registered with us or pointed to WordPress.com.
