http://imoneofakind.me/ works but http://im1ofakind.wordpress.com/ is displayed in the browser window – that is because you did not set the primary domain name correctly – see the instructions below

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

You just changed the settings -it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – changes usually start after a few hours

Here is a guide to help mak your Godaddy hosted email work

I bought the wordpress package with domain mapping. I’m just now realizing there is a difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. I thought I was paying for hosting. So shouldn’t I have access to plugins for customization?
I am confused… what exactly did I buy?
    my site is: afoodiefamily.com

Exactly what the sign said – domain mapping nothing else – that changes the name displayed for your blog to the custom domain name for your visitors – you will work in your original Dashboard at afoodiefamilyblog.wordpress.com/ – you did not get the ability to add Plug-ins (you already have 100 or so built into the system & the great Widgets) – no upgrade here lets you add Plug-ins – but the features are great here so most people only think they need a plug-in – – and the Hosting here is always free

PS – guess I should really also ask which package you bought – but my answer stands no matter which package you purchased – just that there might be other things you received
