domain mapping

  Will domain mapping make my blog easier/harder/no difference in being found by search engines?

  Follow-up, if I did do this (changing url from clarkscottroger.wordpress.com to clarkscottroger.com), would I have to re-register with various indexes.

  It seems like it would be a better, more memorable url, but not worth losing whatever ranking/place on idexes, or having to resubmit my blog to the places I have registered at, that I may have to this point.

  Appreciate any feedback/input.
