Domain Mapping?

Domain Mapping – dont fully understand it.
the domain i own is http://www.dunnedesign.co.uk now according to where i bought the domain from all i need from you is an IP Address? I cant seem to find this anywhere?
Whats the best way and easiest to get my own domain onto my blog/site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To map an existing domain to your WordPress.com blog, you can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

it says i have to pay $13.00 for this once i do this will it then be linked to my own domain. I wont need to do anything else with the “Edit DNS” ?
Once this is all done i just need them to type my domain and it will take them straight to my site? Is that correct?

You don’t have to do anything with the ‘Edit DNS’ section.
Once you’ve purchased the domain mapping upgrade, you can go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

Ok i have purchased the upgrade and i have changed my name servers to what is above. It says this can take upto 48hours so ill keep an eye out in next 48 hours but hoping this has done the trick :)

You will be the last one to see the changes due to Caching issues
