Domain mapping

  I followed the directions under the upgrade tab to use domain mapping with dekers.org that was purchased through another registrar.
  I added the three specific name servers, it allowed for the upgrade, and it isn’t working yet. I know it said it might take
  up to 72 hours but want to make sure that I am not missing any other steps. The wordpress.com site is set as the primary so the .org
  should forward there. Am I missing any steps?

  One related question is masking. It points to the wordpress.com site but is there a way for it to mask the wordpress url?

  Yes, just set the Primary blog address to the new, custom one.
