I want to renew my domain mapping for 13$
How do I do that?
I only have till today to do it, as WordPress had no support available these last days.
So I need your answer urgently. Or at least postpone the date.By the way, why do I have to renew the mapping. My domain is hosted elsewhere.
Thank you for your answer

Hello Lousie,
When you purchased your domain, you purchased it for $13 for a year. You must pay the fee annually to keep your domain. If you miss the payment date, your domain will fall into a grace period for about two weeks. If you haven’t done so, you should consider setting your account up with the auto-renew option.

I hope this help! =)

My domain is “behappyhere.com” but is hosted elsewhere.
So why should I pay the 13$?
Is it about another blog than behappyhere.com?In any case I do not see the links/page where I can purchase the annual domain mapping. Where is it exactly?
And just to be sure, are you sure I need to purchase it?

Hello Louise,
If you want to keep the domain, you should pay the fee. You are paying another host for your site/domain.I apologize, I gave you a bad link *blushing*. This support document outlines how to manage your upgrade:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/
You can always start a free blog if you don’t want to pay for your domain.

OK, I want to keep the domain and pay 13$ (not more for any upgrade). So still I do not understand how to do it.
Sorry, I’m a bit slow, but this is the first time I do it.Thank you
Louise

Since your blog behappyhere.com is no longer here, you do not need to pay for the domain mapping.
Your domain name is also not registered here so you do need to renew the domain name with your Registrar.
If you had behappyhere.com mapped to your blog here for only a short period of time, you might want to consider the site forward upgrade to send traffic from your base blog to behappyhere.com for a year. If your blog had domain mapping for quite a while, set all the content back to draft or Private and leave one Post with a note that you have moved to help any stragglers that stumble across the blog here

Thank you so much for this helpful information. Meaning I just go on as it is and now I know that I can have a domain name registered by you. Something to be considered.
