Domain Mapping

  I just renewed the mapping for 1 year of my Domain URL for one of my blogs/websites, and now it says “successfully renewed” and that the mapping upgrade will expire in 33 days. I don’t understand? I renewed the mapping for an entire year. I don’t think it’s fair to say the mapping is for a year, then charge me $13.00 for just 1 month of mapping. Please help!

  Hey Eric!

  I see that you renewed your domain mapping between ericbcomedy.wordpress.com and the domain ericbcomedy.com. This doesn’t expire until Septemeber 11, 2015.

  The mapping upgrade that is scheduled to expire on November 11, 2014 is aruffwriter.wordpress.com (mapped with ruffwriter.com).

  If you’d like to see the status of all your upgrades for ruffwriter and their corresponding expiration dates, you can take a look at Store → My Upgrades in your Dashboard, or simply click this link:

  Yes, that is correct. I upgraded the ericbcomedy.com domain/mapping and that is good for a year and scheduled to expire correctly.

  However, I ALSO JUST paid for mapping for Ruffwriter.com. I have the receipt. I did it today, 10/14/14. Shouldn’t the mapping be good for 1 year? It says it is expiring in 33 days.

  Hey Eric,

  Yup! It simply appears as if the transaction has not been completed yet. I will confirm that the correct expiration date appears as soon as your charge goes through. Your expiration date for ruffwriter.com will be November 17. 2014.
