  the domain mapping didn’t work. when I type in the new url I get the GoDaddy parked page site

  Hey there, Ketima!

  I see that your mapping is set up properly at WordPress.com, but you still need to change the settings at GoDaddy to get the mapping to work.

  Here are the instructions:

  You’ll need to refer to the section about changing your domain’s name servers.

  I found GoDaddy’s support page regarding name server changes for you:
  https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/664/setting-nameservers-for-your-domain-names

  Once you make that adjustment, the changes can take up to 72-hours to propagate. This means you may not see your domain working immediately. That’s ok. It’ll just be a matter of time.
