How can I renew my domain mapping?

  I would like to renew my domain theteet.com

  I was prompted to contact support because the domain is already mapped through wordpress.com

  Can someone please help?

  Hi, thanks for getting in touch. What was the specific error message you saw when you tried to renew it?

  If you head to Upgrades > Domains in your blog’s Dashboard you should be able to renew the domain mapping there without any trouble.

  Hi. I recieved the following message when I tried to renew the domain:

  “The domain theteet.com has already been registered on WordPress.com. Please contact support if you would like to map this domain again.”

  I’m very sorry to have to inform you that the domain registration for theteet.com was not renewed properly and is now registered at GoDaddy.com and is no longer in our control.

  In reviewing your account, I found that you tried to renew the domain on 2010-05-07, but it had already expired at that point and it also did not renew because the payment was declined. There is an error message for the transaction that says “15005: Processor Decline (This transaction cannot be processed.)”.

  I really hate seeing when this type of problem happens, but there is not a way to recover the domain from our side. You can try contacting the new owner to buy the domain back or you can register a different name. For example, the .net and .org versions of that domain appear to be available. Please let me know if I can help you get setup with a new domain or if you have any other questions.
