Domain Mapping

A wordpress.com installation is conflicting with a WordPress.org installation. Whenever I try to access loljapan.aoi-tori.org, it comes back with an error about a domain mapping that I have never set up. When I check the blogs I have under this account, none of them point to loljapan.aoi-tori.org.

How can I remove this error?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am also unable to access my WordPress.org admin panel because of this conflict.

I also like to mention that, as a precaution, I checked again with Domain Helper to see if there was a potential mapping and none was confirmed:

    No Domain Mapping Found
There is no domain mapping upgrade for loljapan.aoi-tori.org. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.

There is information on how to set up domain mapping in our support documentation. If you need help after that, please contact our support team.

I just want to know was this issue ever resolved because now I’m running into DNS issues with this subdomain.

  • Unknown's avatar

Well, I’m going to assume some staff member fixed it and simply did not bother to notify me of the fix in this thread because the issue has been resolved.

    Hi ladymercury,

We were experiencing some glitches in the domain registration process over the weekend, but they have been resolved now–which is why things are working for you now.

Let me know if you run into additional problems!
