  Hi, I have a domain which I purchased recently. However I liked one of the wordpress theme I am using and want map it with my domain. Do I need to buy server space additionally or I just can do everything as I do with my wordpress blog for free under my domain name? Pl help me.

  Hi!

  You can map your WordPress site to your domain name by purchasing domain mapping. When you buy the mapping your WordPress site (including the theme) will be under your new domain name.

  Hi, thank you a lot for the information. So one need not have separate server space after mapping domain with the wordpress theme? Also can I get paid ads on the site?

  Correct. Your site would be hosted on WordPress.com servers and your domain name would exist at a different site. Domain mapping links the two. Thus, when you type your domain name it will be taken to your site (hosted at WordPress.com).

  You can get paid ads on the site but you must have a certain amount of traffic. I’ve included a guide on WordAds below:
