Domain Mapping
-
I have mapped my domain name Afreshwind.co and I also purchased marciewilson.com from Word Press and neither are appearing. I can see my content in the administration page but when I try to go to either site, it says ‘Server Not Found’.
I even tried to map it back to Afreshwind.wordpress.com and it says the same thing.I also upgraded to the premium blog.
Please advise me on how to make my webpage appear.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The name servers for afreshwind.co need to be set to the following, through your registrar, in order to point to WordPress.com:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMIf you’ve already updated your name servers, then it may take a few hours for those changes to propagate throughout the web and for you to be able to see your site and it’s new domain.
Let me know if you have any extra questions around that, or if there’s anything else I can help out with.

The publicly available WHOIS information for afreshwind.co indicates that it was registered through either Fast Domains or BlueHost:
http://who.is/whois/afreshwind.co
I found the support documentation for updating your name servers through both of those hosts here:
https://my.fastdomain.com/cgi/help/222
https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/222
Hope that helps!

Awesome. I’m glad your mapping afreshwind.co is up and running!
The domain that you registered directly through us, marciewilson.com, is working by default.
I noticed that you’ve added it to afreshwind.wordpress.com, which is the same site that afreshwind.co was added to. As afreshwind.co is set as the primary domain on that site, users will always be redirected there. If you’d like, you can change your site’s primary domain via the My Domains page in WordPress.com:
https://wordpress.com/my-domains
Check the domain you wish your visitors to always be redirected to from the above page and then ‘Update Primary Domain.’
Alternatively, if you’d like marciewilson.com to be on a separate site to afreshwind.co, you can create a new WordPress.com site for it to be transferred to. A new site can be created by following the screen prompts on this page:
https://signup.wordpress.com/start/
Once your new site’s been created, you can then transfer your domain via My Upgrades:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades
Hope that helps out! Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any extra questions around that.
