domain mapping

  Paid for domain mapping and would like to cancel a registered domain and get a refund.
  Blog url: http://palestracentrocomo.wordpress.com/
  Redirection: http://palestracentrocomo.it/
  Yesterday I have deleted the entry in the DNS Settings and hosted the domain on a local provider but as of today the domain is still pointing to wordpress.com, so shall I just wait more for DNS to propagate or is there any action to be taken?

  You need to change the name-servers to point to your new host – that is done where you registered your domain. Once the name servers are changed then there will be a while for the changes to migrate across the internet – can take 24 to 72 hours but changes usually start sooner.

  I think you can cancel the domain mapping from your Dashboard >> Stores

  Hi Gaspar. According to http://who.is/whois/palestracentrocomo.it/ , your domain name is STILL pointing to ns1.wordpress.com, etc.

  You need to change those nameservers.
  Go to your domain name registrar’s website, not WordPress.com’s DNS Settings.
