Add topic to favorites
have changed my CVS at host website, but how do I know I am now posting under my registered domain name instead of .wordpress.com???

pls help

You can fully map your domain name to your WordPress.com site by following the steps in our guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping). If you run into trouble with that, please let me know what domain name you want to use with your site so I can take a closer look at it. :)

Yes, did follow steps but it was the ‘Wait for the Magic’ to happen that didn’t happen.
Domain checking takes back to paying $17 for the domain I already own.
Seems all a bit disconnected and not intuitive.

I’m sorry for the trouble. I checked your account and I don’t see the domain mapping upgrade purchased there, so it looks like your payment didn’t go through. Are you trying to pay for that domain mapping upgrade with a credit card or through PayPal? (If you have both a credit card and a PayPal account, please try both to see if either one works for you.)
