Domain mapping

  I have mapped my domain name to my go daddy domain but it still isn’t working. I updated the DNS and it’s telling me to log in to cpanel. to activate. What is that about?

  Your DNS at melenigma.com is pointing to GoDaddy.

  https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/melenigma.com

  To map your existing domain to your WordPress.com site you’ll need to point the DNS to WordPress.com. Check out this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Since you mentioned cPanel. It’s possible that you are working with a WordPress.org site instead of a WordPress.com site.

  If that’s the case, try asking your question in the WordPress.org forums.
