Domain Mapping

  I am attempting to get domain mapping working. I purchased a domain name (www.stevepietrek.com) from GoDaddy. My WordPress.com blog is http://stevepietrekweblog.wordpress.com.

  I followed the steps outlined here:

  After I bought my 10 credits and added the stevepietrek.com domain name, when I enter stevepietrek.com, it redirects to http://stevepietrekweblog.wordpress.com. When I click the link “Put blog here”, after the update, when I attempt to access either domains (http://stevepietrekweblog.wordpress.com or http://stevepietrek.com), IE says it cannot find the page. I did verify the DNS for stevepietrek.com is pointing to the 3 wordpress custom nameservers.

  Do I need to wait a few hours to see the changes? I assumed once stevepietrek.com picked up the name servers, I could go ahead and switch the location of the blog.

  Any other ideas?
