Domain mapping

Hello,
My website is canisiusgriffin.wordpress.com and today, it said that our domain canisiusgriffin.com has expired, however, we have not owned that domain name since last year, it expired and someone else bought it. However, when I try to access my blog at canisiusgriffin.wordpress.com, it says that my domain has expired. How do I fix this!

@auxclass please help me!
I own the domain periigitis.gr and I want to map it with my periigitisgr.wordpress.com account but I get the message ‘the domain is not registered and can not be mapped’. I already changed the nameservers but nothing. Please help…The blog I need help with is ioulita.wordpress.com.

I want to leave the domain host sitebuilder, and move my website to WP. DO I map the website I currently have, a purchase a new web domain here. I want to keep the same domain name.

Hi there,
I was able to map periigitis.gr for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:
1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades2) If you haven’t done so already, point the domain to our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains

What issue are you having exactly? @auxclass didn’t have an issue, he was assisting another user who had an issue. There are several different issues that have been brought up in this thread, so I wanted to verify which one you were referring to.

We don’t receive outside transfers of domains, but you can definitely point the domain over to your blog here at WordPress.com.
