Domain mapping => A Record
-
Isn’t it enough to point the http://www.mydomain.com A Record to WordPress hosting server? I have other services set up on my DNS zone and I do not wish to transfer all of them to WP name servers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, that is correct.
The current A-Records of WordPress.com are the following:
192.0.78.24
192.0.78.25The best way to map a domain though is using nameservers, because IPs/A-Records can change over time. You’re welcome to use either though, since you can always update your A-Record if they change in the future.
Let us know if you have any further questions or issues. :)

Hi there,
Just note you will still need the domain mapping upgrade included in one of our paid plans as well. Pointing the A records to our IPs won’t work without a mapping upgrade completing the connection on our end.
