Domain mapping after account has been cancelled

  I had cancelled an account: walkingwomanproductions.wordpress.com that I had mapped a domain I owned (walkingwomanproductions.com). I have started a new blog called sharonshoemaker.com that I would like to map walkingwomanproductions.com to but I’m getting the error that this is already mapped to another wordpress.com domain. Is there a way to have it removed from the old cancelled account and then mapped to this account and made the primary domain?

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.

  Can you try to map the domain to your new blog again? I removed the mapping record from the deleted account for you.

  Thanks Bruce, that worked and the domain is mapped.

  And thank you timethief for tagging this for me, I didn’t know anything about that. But I do now!
