If you are using WordPress.com platform than you must be having the site on WordPress.com where you can add custom domain to your site. While adding custom domain to your site the you can either register a new domain and can also use your existing domain to your site.
Here are the two ways in which you can use your existing site with us :
1. Transferring the domain with WordPress.com
Here your will be transferring your domain from your current registrar to WordPress.com that will help you out in managing your domain and sites at one palace.
Note: You can only transfer your domain if it is not under any 60-day transfer lock at your current provider

If you don’t want to change your registrar or your domain is under 60 day lock in period then you can map your domain with WordPress.com
