Domain Mapping and Files hosted on your server

Hi, I recently purchased domain mapping for my blog (the mapping has been deleted now). When I had it, it worked fine, pages on my wordpress had the appropriate address. However, when I tried linking to a podcast that is hosted on our server, clicking it brings you to a “cannot find page”.

Is this because of the mapping? The address of our podcast is http://www.d3combat.com/audio/example.mp3. When you try to enter this address with mapping enabled, wordpress thinks you are looking for that page in your blog. Is there anyway to link to things hosted on our server? (I use godaddy)

Let me know if this makes sense.
    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you had http://d3combat.com/ mapped to your site here, then the links to uploaded files will always be the original links to the wordpress.com URL. Links to files always have to be absolute. Links to posts and pages can be mapped, but uploaded files cannot. The links to audio files with or without a mapped domain name here will always take the following form.

    [audio src="http://d3combat.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/example.mp3" /]
