Domain mapping and old links

    Good afternoon! So, I have a domain, let’s say http www s-m ro (no points and slash(es) in this explanation, of course, and ro is the ccTLD for Romania). Ok, I will pay 13 USD, I know how to upgrade the DNS, everything will work and my site becomes http s-m ro (no www!), instead of the old and actual http smro wordpress com. Domain mapping, of course. But there are some old links pointed to http smro wordpress com; they will work normally in the future, isn’t it? Sorry for this childish question, but this explanation was in the old help page, but NOT in the present one.
