domain mapping and page rank

  Somehow I have managed to accumulated a page rank of 3 on my blog. What happens to this if I change my domain name and pay for mapping – does the page rank go with me – or do I lose it when I change the domain name and have to start again?

  You drop to zero, but it doesn’t take long to work your way back to previous pagerank: four to six months.
